Join the Board of Directors – Vancouver Finlandia Club
The Vancouver Finlandia Club is looking for passionate, community-minded individuals to volunteer on our Board of Directors! If you care about Finnish culture, enjoy supporting community events, or want to help shape the future of our club, we would love to hear from you at our AGM on Feb 22, 2026.
We are especially hoping to welcome new board members with skills in any of the following areas (but open to others!):
- Website management & social media – help us strengthen our online presence and connect with our community.
- Event planning & coordination – support the creation of cultural events, celebrations, and gatherings.
- Finnish language abilities – from conversational to fluent, all levels are valuable in helping preserve and promote our heritage.
- Secretary – taking monthly meetings notes and other correspondence
Serving on the board is a meaningful way to contribute to our vibrant Finnish community in Vancouver, meet wonderful people, and bring new ideas to life. Meetings are conducted in English, once a month.
