Nordic Baking

Nordic Baking is delivered by the

Scandinavian Community Centre.

It has two parts:

Nordic Baking Classes, and Nordic Bake Sale.

Nordic Baking Classes

Learn to bake with the guidance of our professional baker Sandra Benholm-Cheung! The classes are offered by the Scandinavian Community Centre on Mondays, September to May and are about 2 hours long, 7-9 pm.

Anyone is welcome to join, no baking experience is necessary!

The classes are either in-person at the Scandinavian Community Centre or on zoom.

If you want to be added to our email list for upcoming classes, please fill out the form below.

We acknowledge the financial assistance of the Province of British Columbia.

Nordic Bake Sale

The Scandinavian Community Centre has a Nordic Bake Sale about once a month, September to May.

If you want to be added to our email list, please fill out the form above.

Most Nordic Bake sales are pre-ordered. You fill out a google form and then pay your order to confirm it. On the day of the Bake sale, there is a one-hour time slot to pick up your order.

There is limited supply available so it’s a good idea to order early to avoid disappointment.

We can prepare special orders for board meetings at the Centre, larger custom orders, or Scandinavian wedding cakes. Contact us at nordicbakesale@gmail.com
