Canadian Friends of Finland- Vancouver, are excited to invite you to the Runeberg Day Festival on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. We’ll have a presentation revealing more insights into the Finnish heritage and culture.
The talented Runeberg Chorus will perform, plus there will be piano and solo performances.
Enjoy coffee and tea alongside the famous Runeberg torte (Finnish: runebergintorttu; Swedish: Runebergstårta). These tortes are tall, topped with a circle of frosting and a dollop of jam. You just might be asked to help with decorating your own torte!
Additionally, we will have display table or two for your enjoyment. It will be a delightful experience. Attendance is by donation for members. All are welcome. Please invite your family and friends and feel free to share this newsletter. Kiitos!
