The success of the Scandinavian Centre can largely be attributed to the efforts and energy of the wonderful people that sit on the Board of Directors every year.
Each country has three representatives on the Board. The position of SCCS President is held for a one-year term and travels between the different organizations annually. All positions are voted on by the members at the SCCS Annual General Meeting.

Hi I am looking for my cousins and second cousin, last name Koll. My grandmother’s sister, Lydia (Vesterback I think) moved to Vancouver from Petalax Finland, maybe in the 30s/40s. She maried and becamd Lydia Koll. Anyone who knows anything/anyone with this surname?

Hi! I’m looking for the remnants of the Swedish Canadian Club in Vancouver. Are your association perhaps a descendent of that society? The reason I’m asking is that I’m a member of an old association in Östersund/Sweden called Dundergubbarna. We have an old wooden gavel with an inscription that it was a gift from the SCC of Vancouver.
