Lucia Evening Dinner

Celebrate Santa Lucia in the afternoon with the Vancouver Swedish Cultural Society! This is the 59th year of the Lucia event in Vancouver. Join us for dinner, and a candlelit procession with traditional Lucia songs.  This year’s Lucia: Alicia Bristow.

The evening Lucia event will include:

    • A Swedish Christmas sing-along
    • Swedish soloist performances
    • The Lucia procession
    • Dinner, a traditional Swedish Julbord
    • Dancing around the Christmas tree
    • Doors open at 5:30 PM
    • Mingle with friends, Glögg flows, and the bar opens at 5:30 PM
    • The program starts at 6:30 PM
    • A short foot-stomping history of Swedish pop music to kick us off
