Real Estate Market – Current state and what’s ahead presented by TAMMY EVANS
1) A bit of real estate history & job description of realtors (what the heck do they do??)
2) Current conditions, including rental issues (Who wants to be a landlord??)
3) What’s ahead: market trends, investing, and mortgage rates (please bring crystal balls or any form of fortune-telling)
“The most reluctant Realtor to ever apply for a license, Tammy’s 5-year plan turned into a 3-decade passion. An agent for almost 30 years, & with RE/MAX for over 22 years, Tammy stays current with evolving trends in marketing and the legal aspect (huge!) of being a professional real estate advisor. An award-winning agent and always in the top percentage of achievers, she likes to stay connected to her community at every level; Past President of The Icelandic Club of Canada of BC & currently on the Board; she helped facilitate the Blanket Drive for the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board for over 20 years; currently sits on the Government Relations Committee, and has travelled to Mongolia and Africa as a volunteer with World Vision. The last 2 summers she has been a volunteer at an archaeological dig site in Orkney and has explored her Scandinavian heritage in the Northern Isles. The awards she is proudest of are the ones she received from the FVREB for community service, and from the real estate paging company, 8 years in a row, for being one of their top 3 favourite people to answer for.”
