Jackie Kloosterboer has been leading the way in earthquake and disaster preparedness for over 20 years. Working on the front lines of disaster supporting those impacted, Jackie has seen first-hand the difference preparedness makes to you and your family.
She presents countless Emergency Preparedness Sessions to individuals and business groups, taking them through the process of how to be prepared for whatever disaster comes their way. Various media outlets across Canada often interview her to promote the importance of disaster preparedness.
Jackie is the recipient of the Queens Jubilee Award for her dedication to helping those displaced by disaster. In addition, she was awarded the Instructor of Year for the Justice Institute of BC for teaching volunteers how to respond to disasters.
Jackie has taken this message one-step further with her book My Earthquake Preparedness Guide – Simple Steps to get You, Your Family and Pets Prepared.
