Donors
The Finland House Society Scholarship Program was established in 2012 under an endowment fund to provide annual scholarships for post secondary education for fulltime students of Finnish descent and who are residents of B.C.
An endowment fund is like planting a tree. Endowments provide a permanent and ever increasing source of income for scholarships. The capital is held in perpetuity and invested while a portion of the interest earned is disbursed. The remaining interest is recapitalized into the endowment to preserve the value of the fund over time. As the tree grows, so does its yield of student awards. We are asking you to please consider donating to the fund directly or in memory of a loved one. Please be generous and leave a lasting legacy for future generations!
Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $25 or more. Please make your cheques payable to Finland House Society Scholarship Fund.
